Greg reflects on all the changes that have been made in 2020 when it comes to doing business and looking forward to 2021 in this episode of Ask The Expert. 800 CHAB radio presents Ask the Expert with Greg Marcyniuk of Heritage Insurance located in Moose Jaw.
Here's a full transcript of the episode.
Rob Carnie: Greg Marcyniuk, Heritage Insurance, on Ask the Expert. We're a few days in to 2021. I think 2021 is going to be better than 2020. How about you, Greg?
Greg Marcyniuk: That's right, Rob, and I just want to take this time... I know we usually talk about safety things, about insurance and everything but I think it's important that we reflect back on 2020. And first and foremost, I really want to thank each and every one of our staff here at Heritage Insurance. They've just gone above and beyond in providing the best customer service possible given the times.
Secondly, I really want to thank the clients for understanding, for coming into the offices, for masking up, and basically following the protocols of what the government is asking. And also, a huge thanks to all the people out in the heartland here. We've got all the people, the frontline workers, all your medical people, EMTs, doctors, nurses that are just putting in the extra time.
And as well as our teachers that are there providing teaching for our kids, and as well as transportation people, truckers, in making sure everything is being taken care of and we're still getting fed. And then, of course, all of our other service workers that are all there in the public, and just really, a real great thank you to everybody.
And I really want to emphasize that 2021 is going to be that much better as long as we follow the protocols, which Saskatchewan has known so well for, and have a safe, healthy, happy, prosperous new year in 2021. And again, thank you for CHAB Golden West Radio for all that you've done over the last year and getting the message out about being safe, getting proper coverages in place.
Rob: Yeah, we certainly thank you too for your business and sharing your safety tips and insurance expertise. Normally, you and I meet every two weeks, face to face, and do this feature, but for several months, we've been doing it on the telephone, safe social distancing. The way we've done business, I mean, at your place and our place, really changed in 2020. So, we're looking forward to getting back to being face to face, maybe sometime this summer.
Greg: I sure hope so, Rob, because, you know, as in any business, it's all about relationships and the only way that you get those relationships, and continually develop those relationships, by seeing people face to face. Like, we're warm-hearted people here in Saskatchewan but we're also common sense people, so we will get through this and we are going to be in for better times.
Rob: Again, Heritage Insurance is open for business. As long as you mask up and sanitize your hands, you're good to go. Greg, thanks very much for this, and Happy New Year.
Greg: Thank you and Happy New Year to you, Rob.
